Parivartan: Time to Change
This small booklet, Parivartan- Time to Change, is a short introduction to Yoga Ecology and outlines simple and practical steps we can all adopt in our daily lives to live an ecological life. This booklet was written by Swami Prembhava after the devastating Australian bush fires in 2019. Its purpose is to empower individuals, by offering a sense of hope and resilience in the face of hopelessness that prevails after such natural disasters.
Janani: Understanding Prakriti
Janani - Understanding Prakriti, the first volume in the series, introduces Prakriti, nature, and her all-pervading presence on planet Earth and in everyone’s life. The sadhana opens the door to the transformative process of Yoga Ecology, a lifestyle in which the individual and cosmic Prakriti exist in harmony and balance
Janani: Annadwai Pranah –Food is Prana
Janani: Annadwai Pranah – Food is Prana, the second volume of the series, explores the nurturing aspect of Prakriti, nature, in our lives. We understand the relationship between the individual and the environment by looking at the many facets of food; its production, distribution, consumption and waste. The sadhana offers a simple way to change our attitudes and habits towards food, thereby enhancing our own health and that of the planet
Janani: Water – Sustainer of Life
Janani: Water – the Sustainer of Life is the third volume of the series on yoga ecology. Water, the apas tattwa, is explored in all aspects – from the stark reality of misuse and abuse in today’s modern societies to vedic and yogic concepts of water. Readers are given practical guidelines on how to save and respect water.
Janani: Holistic Yogic Lifestyle
Janani: Holistic Yogic Lifestyle is the fourth volume of the series on yoga ecology. A yogic lifestyle brings harmony into one’s life by balancing the four basic instincts of human nature: sexuality, craving, fear and sleep or disconnection. The key is sanyam, the ability to remain unaffected by one’s likes and dislikes, to be steady and at ease in all circumstances. Practical sadhanas address the needs of the individual at different times of the day and in the course of a month.
